We would like to inform you about the personal data we collect and the way in which we use this information and what your rights are in this regard. We respect your privacy and take adequate technical and organisational measures to secure your personal data. Personal data is processed in a careful manner and will not be shared by us with other parties without your permission.

1. Controller

Controller: the Sivepo Data Controller mentioned above.

3. Data collected and purposes of processing

The Controller processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to the Controller. 
The personal data processed by the Controllers are: your first and last name, e-mail address and, if applicable, telephone number.

The Controller processes the personal data for the purpose of efficient and effective business operations, in particular in the context of carrying out the following activities.

  • The Controller uses information about you, such as your name and contact details, when you enter into a contract with the Controller or when the Controller needs to contact you. For example, the Controller needs your personal data to answer your customer questions. 
  • The Controller may use your data for relationship management and marketing. For example, the Controller may send you newsletters with information about its products and services. For organisational reasons, the Controller will ask for your name, e-mail address and telephone number. This data will be used to contact you in the future for information, promotions, or events. Of course, you can object or withdraw your consent if you do not wish to receive our information. 
  • The Controller may process your data in order to comply with laws and regulations.

4. Disclosure to third parties

Sometimes it is necessary to share data with other organizations. Furthermore, in exceptional cases, the Controller provides data on the basis of a legal obligation. Think of the government in investigative cases.

To ensure that your data is secure, the Controller enters into processing agreements with its partners. This means that these partners also work according to the GDPR and the data is exchanged with them in a secure manner.

When the Controller shares personal data with organisations in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), the Controller always takes the necessary measures to protect this data. In doing so, he relies on the EU's model clauses, among other things. Where applicable, the Controller uses standard clauses in agreements with service providers to ensure that the transfer of personal data to parties outside the EEA complies with the GDPR.

5. Retention period

The Controller will not keep your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or for which they are subsequently processed. The Controller observes statutory retention periods. After this, the data will be deleted or anonymized.

6. Your rights in relation to personal data

You have the right to request the Controller:

  • to access your personal data;
  • to rectify inaccurate personal data and complete incomplete personal data;
  • to have the personal data deleted (under certain conditions);
  • to restrict the processing of your personal data (under certain conditions).

You also have the right to:

  • data portability (under certain circumstances); 
  • object to the processing (under certain circumstances); 
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before its withdrawal; 
  • file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

The Controller does not use automated decision-making to serve you.  

7. Security

The Controller has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access and other undesirable actions with your personal data.

With regard to all data entrusted to the Controller, you have or should have access to your own data at all times. The Controller shall comply with the applicable laws and regulations relating to privacy, competition and data security. Integrity and confidentiality are paramount.

8. Cookies

The Controller uses cookies on its websites. When you visit this website, the following analytical cookies are placed to improve the website and measure usage: _pk_id.* and _pk_ses.*

With this, we collect the following data to gain insight into website usage: 

  • IP address where the last 2 octets (digit groups) are anonymized 
  • Internet browser, screen resolution and operating system 
  • Session duration, bounce rate, page visits

We use the PiwikPro program for this. The data collected in this way is stored within the European Economic Area (EEA) for a maximum of 14 months. This data cannot be traced back to a person.

9. Third-Party Websites

The Controller's website may contain references (e.g. by means of a hyperlink, banner or button) to other websites. This does not automatically mean that the Controller is affiliated with these other sites or owners thereof. The use of these third-party websites may be subject to a different privacy statement. This Privacy Statement only applies to personal data obtained by the Controller. The Controller does not accept any responsibility or liability for (the operation and/or content of) third-party websites.

10. Changes to this Privacy Statement

The Controller reserves the right to amend this Privacy Statement. Any changes will be announced on this page. The Controllers recommend that you consult this Privacy Statement regularly so that you are always aware of the content of the statement in force.
