Tray production process

The Normpack® trays are produced by thermoforming. This means that a polystyrene foil is heated (1) and then carefully pressed through a matrix (2) with the help of overpressure and underpressure.  Finally, the tray is punched (3) out of the foil. Also, the overspill and bottom holes can be applied at this time and the punched waste can immediately be used as raw material. The trays are then stacked and prepared for shipping.
